It's not about the exchange rate, Jamie, it's the fact that somebody paid actual negotiable instruments for something like this. Besides, no matter how many dollars that is, it's still alot of Lira. I've never been to Italy, but I hope they print 1000 Lira pieces, or bills or something.

That's probably in pounds so 10,000 pounds is something close to 17,000-20,000 USD.
